BFS webinar: Staying connected with your homeland
August 25, 2017 @ 1:00 pm
We all live in wonderfully diverse communities and many of you may be supporting older people from different cultural groups in your BFS kiosk. Technology is such a great way to create communities and connect people; particularly those who may be socially isolated or who feel mainstream digital activities are not relevant to their lives.
Join us for an exploration and discussion on the various ways you can engage culturally and linguistically diverse older Australians in first language activities using the World Wide Web.
Our presenter is Georgina Nou. Georgina is the BFS Networker for SA/NT. She has a strong background in teaching and learning particularly in the digital sphere.
